Juniors Steve Galiardo (138) and Dom Boggia (126) won individual titles to help lead the Shamrocks to a 2nd place finish Saturday at the annual Rex Lewis Invitational at Buffalo Grove High School. Senior Anthony Ferraris placed second at 170-pounds, while seven other Shamrocks finished in the top 5.
Friday night the Shamrocks improved their season dual record to 7-5 after picking up three wins over Catholic League opponents Fenwick, St. Ignatius, and St. Laurence.
